Thrifting is a little like tressure hunting, and this haul felt like hitting the jackpot. From vintage-inspired pieces to things I never knew I needed, here’s everything I found on my latest trip.

blue vintage vase i thrifted

This BLUE VASE was tucked away in a shelf, with so much clutter hiding it from sight that it took me literally 30 minutes of constantly scouring the shelves to finally find this beauty.  I was instantly drawn to both its shape and color. I am already imagining it on my bookshelf with fresh flowers or maybe I’ll leave it as it, I don’t know still deciding!!

ancient greek vase

This vase has my heart! I have been in search for something like this for quite some time and with my fascination with Greek and Roman mythology, scoring this felt like such a win. LET ME TELL YOU A SECRET, this vase was broken from the top and was glued back together. DID I CARE? OF COURSE NOT!!! WHO EVEN CARES…. I have this beautiful vase and I honestly don’t know how I’ll use it, fresh flowers? maybe or do you think it’ll look good on it’s own. Would love to know what you think.

THE NEXT ITEM ON MY THIFT HAUL IS *DRUM ROLL* BOOK LOVERS YOU MIGHT WANT TO ASSEMBLE FOR THIS ONE…

Dragon book ends

When I saw a pair of DRAGON BOOKENDS I fricking lost it. I literally couldn’t contain my excitement, I just couldn’t believe my luck. Of course the shop keeper saw that and tried to take advantage by quoting a high price. But I wasn’t going home without them so my negotiating powers kicked in and I managed to score the pair for a surprisingly low price. Yayyy!!!

cherub, porcelain candlestick holder.

When I first saw this, I hesitated—not because I didn’t love it, but because it wasn’t a pair. It might be a recent reproduction rather than a true vintage piece, but something about it captivated me. The cherub-like figure and column-inspired base evoke the essence of ancient Roman and Greek art, making it impossible to leave behind. I knew it belonged in my collection. For now it sits on my shelf but I am planning on styling this with other classical pieces very soon.

wall hanging plate with chinese painting

I’ve always been into Greek mythology and Chinese folklore, so I naturally gravitate toward art that reflect those influences. That’s why when I saw this plate I instantly added it to my cart. I still haven’t hung it but I like looking at it.

I’m passionate about different cultures, art, and storytelling, and that always comes through in my thrift finds. I look for pieces with meaning—items that carry a story from different corners of the world. To me, blending elements from various cultures adds character to my home, making it both beautiful and uniquely my own.

And just like that, another successful thrift haul! I love going thrifting and finding pieces that feel like they belong with me . Do you have a favorite thrifted item with a story behind it? Let me know- I’d love to hear about your finds!
